I'll check that out.

The only way an RPM window switch would work is if I didn't turn the nitrous on until after the launch. Otherwise its just a safety device.

Get the bottle filled and a proper tune.
It should be night/day difference.

Thanks for the link.... that kills two birds with one stone. Well worth the ching if it works like they claim it does.

To the OP that looks like a clean install. I would like to see pics of the fuel line tap and the nozzle mount.

if i lived at sea level it would be a big help! at over a mile above it, it is alittle harder to make power its kinda like trying to suck an apple through a straw

I also live in Colorado Springs (Constitution and 24). I was running a 600whp SR20DET. I am now in the process of parting it out to get into an EVO 8. I'd be happy to meet up and hang out. I also have a zex nitrous kit like you have and was wondering if I should sell it or keep it for the Evo. If you need a bottle warmer, I have one I'd let you borrow. Hit me up in PM.

Cheers-
Erich

Yeah man get it tuned and a heater. My best on an 8 Turbo with basic bolt ons is 11.83@115.8 . Im going with the 9 Turbo, WOT 65mm Throttle Body, and a 50-75 shot shooting for 10's but will be more than happy with 11.3. Hit me up with a pm on how easy the kit was to install. Im also getting the Window switch. To all the nitrous noobs and haters...... Nitrous isnt bad when you have the right tune and dont abuse it. Some people shouldnt have it either though. lol

I agree, nitrous can be a successfule power adder if used properly. I've had great results in the past before I had my EVO. As many have stated, don't cut corners when it comes to using nitrous. An ideal setup would be: wet nitrous kit, bottle warmer, window switch and most importantly a tune! I've always used ZEX products and have never had a problem.

EDIT: Because I was being an a-hole.
Here's what I would like to see for my own curiosity:
- A run without the bottle being empty, and no female (hope you have fun with her later)
then,
- If you do not have these things already : A run with an MBC, TBE w/ test pipe.
- A tune specifically for this setup.

Are you running a tune for the nitrous and if so what/who are you using? I assume you're running a Walbro.
