What J Pipe/Outlett Pipe???

Hey guys,
I just got a Evo 9 Turbo in the mail. I have the older Buschur Deluxe Intercooler that had the bottom licp part connected to the back of the Intercooler. What J pipe, Outlet Pipe, whatever you wana call it do i need for everything to fit to my Evo 8? It came with all the lines from the Evo 9 and the stock j pipe. Please help and thankx in advance!

I would contact Buschur and heres why.

I had the same problem as you because I had a Buschur Deluxe FMIC on my EVO8 and I was upgrading to the FP GREEN (which is essentialy an EVO9 turbo). The pipe from my Deluxe FMIC would not fit with the new EVO9 turbo. So, I got the EVO9 install kit Buschur sells pictured here.

Notice this pipe is slightly different than the one that comes with the EVO8 Buschur Deluxe kit. The EVO9 one has less of a bend.

Anyway, I bought that pipe and it still didnt line up too great with the Deluxe FMIC, so I said F it and I bought a RACE FMIC with the RACE LICP. Contact Buschur, see what they say. Im sure I could have MADE it fit with a super long coupler and such, but my car was down for months and I decided to get the race FMIC and never looked back.

go to forced performance and buy their install kit. Its forcedperformance.com and its only $129 instead of $150 and they include the other new oil line and also all new gaskets for everything!

if you check the Evo classifed private section, I think there are a few pipes made for your situation.

I have the same FMIC on my car from the previous owner. The 180* hard outlet makes any LICP solution a royal PITA. I have the heat shielded 8 j-pipe for the stock turbo. It fits so close you have to take it off to get a coupler on it. Its my least favorite thing to deal with on the car. And the whole thing will likely be leaving at the first available oppurtunity.
