which throttle body to go with

Question which throttle body to go with

I am replacing my throttle body as it is leaking. I have only found two. Buschur and works. any thoughts on which to get. i will have buschur port my manifold as well.

b/r is cheeper i beleave. and its the same thing. if he is porting your manifold you miles well have him do the t/b to port match it to the intake manifold. plus your only paying shipping to him and back instead of shipping on a manifold to b/r and back and a t/b to works and back. you will save alot more money and everything will be port matched to each part.

thanx for the info, my buddy went with buschur and was happy. i think i will go with them. the port is only 75 for the intake manifold.

Contact WOT on the forums. He has 20 years experience building and tuning race engines for IRL, ALMS and CART. He does 65mm throttle bodies. You can't go wrong with WOT (Aby).

when your TB leaks do you get a squealing noise during acceleration? just wondering because mine does that.

From what I have read, it's not who ports the TB the best, it's who matches the TB porting to the porting of the intake mani...


IMHO, the main thing is to have the same shop (assuming they are competent) do both for best results.

Im going with WOT. Seen his work and is nice. They are right though, only minor gains if Intake Mani isnt port match with it.

If the TB is leaking why not buy the works high pressure seals? or you just wanna go all out?

i can't hear it over my intake and blow off valve. i did a boost leak test and that is when i found it.
