I bought mine from http://www.speedelement.com/ at a good price. Very fast shipping from Cali to FL I was impressed with them.

I was thinking about installing in myself since i did everything else on my car.

Has anyone done theres?

Whats the easiest way to tell if its disengaging?

Theres a guy on here that goes by KMXxBadboy, he uses the Cusco on his 500hp (to the wheel) GT35 equipped Evo 8 MR. He hasn't had a single problem with it. T

he only bad thing I can say about both the Exedy and Cusco is that they both make noise, but thats expected with twin plate cluthes. Other than that both are pretty much the same yet Adam says the Cusco makes less noise not sure how though.

Theres no real easy way, I mean to really check you have to drive your car and see if it'll lock you out or grind during shifting at any gear and rpm. BUT, you can narrow it down by setting the pedal as far out as possible with the rod and then slowly reducing the length of travel of the pedal until it's at the right spot (the spot is driver dependent).

The pedal feels more direct and the when you step on the clutch it'll feel quicker because the SS line doesn't flex under pressure and will remove the restriction pill in the stock line.

The noise is pretty much really loud chatter coming from the discs when the clutch is fully disengaged or when u decel in gear.According to some people its loud and others it's manageable. Some even say it goes away after some time, don't know.

The clutch makes a chattering noise nothing to major, it is much more promenant when the A/C is one but you only really hear it when you are sitting still. (Slightly louder than stock)

I dont have the SS line but I plan on getting one. I dont really know what the advantage of it is.... Anyone on this>?

Well you said it yourself that ACT seems like its not the way to go so DONT buy the TOB. Go stock.... No advantage buying the other one anyways..

Good question, I never looked when I got the clutch for the alignment tool. So I dont know if it has the alignment tool in it. From experience of buying many other clutches for imports they all had the alignment tool. From what I can tell on many site NONE of them say that you need the tool so I think you should be good to go just buy the TOB.

go to www.evomoto.com to get install info if you are going to do it yourself. I had mine done by a friend at a dealer who has done a ton of them. Talk to Scott @ TTP-engineering he is an encyclopedia of information.

All you need is, TOB (usually vendors include them with the Exedy or Csusco), alignment tool(I think it comes with the clutch) and clutch kit with flywheel.
