I'm sticking with the stock MR clutch. Now that I look back, it only died because I abused the **** out of it. It lasted me 20,000 miles highway and city, 20 luanches, a few 3k slips from idiots driving my car, learned how to launch with it, glazed it when I had 8k miles on it. right now I have an exhaust and intake and only plan on hitting 360whp and 360wtq on a dynojet, so I don't think the ACT was ever going to be of use for me. I guess I was suckered in by the shop and everyone else saying how bad the stock one was and that I should go with a "better one". I also thought I would bring my car to the track more often and as it turned out the last time i was at the track was back in october 2006.

So I guess the lesson I learned is that I should've stuck to my gut feeling over a shop's word or what people say on a forum like this. Mind you, the stock clutch pressure plate is only 2200lbs of clamping force and the Xtreme is 3300lbs. That's a ****load of a difference if you ask me... In the future IF I decide to make more power, I'll probably go with the Cusco twin plate clutch since the clam force is around 2300lbs the firction plate meterial can make up for the clamp force and hold the power. This clutch I think is more ideal for a 6 speed transmission because it won't shock the internals that badly if you drop it.
