You have to reset the check engine light.

must be wired up wrong???? You shouldn't even need a cel fix on the stock cat. Whether you have a dp/cat back or not, if the stock cat is in place, you shouldn't need the cel fix.

I thought the electronic cel fix didn't work on the IX's just the VIII's. Try the spark plug antifouler mod in the how to section-easy fix and its under $3.

Why not get the drilled out spark plug defoulers like everyone else.I have a Perrin 3" HFC and the defoulers and have had the HFC on my car for about 4 months now and no CEL.

Did you buy the one under "test pipes and cats" off of gruppe's site?

http://www.gruppe-s.com/Evo/evoex.htm

If you did you don't need it with the stock cat, using it with the stock CAT still in place will throw a CEL also because you have too LITTLE flow instead of too MUCH. Also note this is the mechanical fix NOT the electronic one. In this case your still relying on your actual O2 sensor to function. However you stated that you got a CEL before the "fix" but was it on before or after you put the rest of the exhaust on? Do you think you damaged it when taking it out/putting it in? Did you even take it out being you still have the stocker?
