Yeah, I'm glad I was understanding it correctly. As far as my experience, I'm still using the completely stock actuator with a few turns of preload. Recent logs at the track showd 28 psi max (mostly 27.7) falling to 25 with a very final at top of rpm of 23. Don't know if I'm just lucky with it holding fairly well, or what, but about a week before the thread using the external spring came out, I had decided to do that exact mod. I'll be testing it on the dyno as a final/final test during the cam comparisons.

on my stealth I have a vacuum canister and run a hose from that to the WGA so it helps pull the WG shut with vacuum.

twin 16g's @ 35psi
