Hey I was wondering if all the white evo owners with any kind of exhaust have black exhaust fumes above the exhaust opening. Because I have a white evo and I'm looking for a exhaust just dont want black on my bumper. I think I saw the vivid Evo with black exhaust fumes over the exhaust opening. If I can find the pic i'll post it.

 

only exhausts made for the evo 7 like Vivids JIC exhaust or the HKs Hi-Power exhaust. Any other exhaust shouldnt cause problems. Good names are AMS, RMR, Ultimate Racing, Etc. HKS will be releasing an exhaust for the Evo 8 In August from what it sound like and that one wont burn it either because it is made for the Evo 8!

 

The US version of the Evo 8 has a bumper that is aprox. 1 inch longer than the Japan Evo 7. That is why Vivids is burnt

 

O so it only burnt it because its short and made for the Evo 7. So the AMS and the other names you mentioned shouldnt burn the bumper right?

If you remove your cat, add a VTA BOV, adjust fueling, or basically do anything to run rich, the bumper will be discolored. You can buy an aftermarket "exhaust guard" and stick it on your bumper.
