need help with my 2.3 build

hey guys and gals. i finally got the money for my build for my evo 8. i was gonna ask you guys if you guys could help me put together a list of the parts that i need for my 2.3 build. i already have the turbo kit and my tranny is about to get rebuilt so i just need the internals, intake, ignition, fuel, etc etc. i have about 7k to 8k to spend but i will be doing all the labor myself except for the head i was leaning towards the ams race head and i would just send them my core.

i aprreciate your help and thanks for looking

Depending on your experience level, you'd probably wanna just get a shortblock from someone. Buschur/AMS would be the best bet.

are you looking into buyin a stroker kit or buy all the parts separate?? i would get either the buschur or ams stroker kit, but thats just me. im planning on strokin out my bottom end pretty soon. im probably gonna lean towards the ams myself. im sure if you look theres a good thread on stroker builds on this site. including parts needed. as for hardware get all arp hardware such as rod bolts, main studs, and head studs.

im pretty sure but id just make sure that they were high quality bolts. i mean if youre going in that deep you might as well do it to the extreme to handle whatever you throw at it. that way its done with no worries and its done right.

As long as you don't launch alot, or extremely hard, they should hold. I have a buddy that has been on stock axles with over 600 whp for about 2 years.

your axles should hold. like said above as long as your not launching hard you should be fine. if youre really interested in replacing your axles the driveshaft shop axles would be the way to go.

Keep the stock drivetrain but install a lsd front diff (stock is an open diff) Mostall of your aftermarket rods already have ARP bolts in them.
