Yeah I felt mice could have been ported more, but I didn't have the time to take that on at the moment. I need my DD up and running and the manifold was holding the install up. That said I thought it was very nice and worth the money, definately lighter than stock, some decent porting even if you wanted to give it a bit more and it was super cheap.

I can't tell really how it affected spool because I just added a 10.5 turbo, an 02 housing, pipes, etc. But the car spools very very fast now, I would say I can get full spool by 3300 or so.

Just bought one of these manifolds. GOod quality as described and came with gaskets. Larger than stock and nicely ported. For 125 shipped you can't beat this deal!

I'm interested in this manifold. Some dyno numbers would be nice. Did you guys feel a big difference after the install?

No dyno numbers....I can say the transition to boost is very smooth and you dont have to lean on the throttle as much...very much like a normally aspirated car thats set up right....the power is just there all the time and ealier in the rpms'..Ports were nice, I did port and polish them more to match the gasket and then reworked the hot side the same way...there was a lot to be cut there...results are excellent...I also took the manifold out and had it ceramic coated along with the heat shield ...all done in blk..I hate bling.. Results...worth the money...just for the smooth power transition and look if nothing else...

I installed this manifold on a friend's evo this past Sat. I compared it to my personally ported stock manifold and also compared it to the turbo gasket. It appeared to be nothing more than a recast of a stock manifold with internal runner width enlarged in the casting. It was not gasket matched at all. The manifold was not hand or machine ported. There was also an area of poor casting on the bottom of the manifold that was very thin and bubbly. Gains couldn't be distinguished because I installed GSC S1 cams at the same time. Personally, I'd rather have a hand ported, gasket matched manifold, but the price can't be beat as long as it lasts over time.
