Do i need to upgrade the clutch?

I have a evo 9 with some basic mods on it. I did the fuel pump/turbo back exhaust/intake/boostcontroler. Im looking into doing cams and fuel injectors next. What i want to know is if i do the cams and fuel injectors will i need a clutch or anything else for that matter that would be good for the car to support those mods.

Also will these parts put alot of ware on my transmission, possibly leading to a need for a new trans sometime in the near future?

Now where near. That is unless you abuse it and dont take car of it. I wouldnt worry about running that level mod on a stock clutch for a while. If you take it to the track or launch on the street alot, you will wear out the clutch very quickly.

just get a flash, dont waste your money on a S-AFC or anythink like that. The ECU flash is perfectly fine. Just dont go with Dynoflash, try to get a custom tune on a dyno somewhere.

You dont need fuel injectors with the stock turbo, so dont bother buying them. The stock clutch can hold the power you have and will have, however, if you plan on launching the car alot, Id look into getting an ACT street clutch (I had one, loved it). If not, stock should be fine.

Your transmission will not get any wear from this. As long as you know how to drive it properly and you do the maintenance, everything should be fine

if you don't dump the clutch, your transmission should be fine. The clutch restrictor pill is there to protect your transmission. Once you get more than 325WHP to your car and your clutch starts slipping, then you can consider an upgrade, otherwise stock is fine.

My car only has about 300WHP and I had a lot of hard launches and the clutch went out at 10K miles. You should be able to get quite a few miles out of your clutch if you are a better driver than me, which is just about everybody. Good luck.
