Every fast car with the green is running full bolts-ons, a Buschur stage 4 if you will.

A link to the stage can be seen here.

I know I have one my self... just wondering what they are doing to achieve sub 11. Besides the driver and weight, of course. Maybe thats all it is just wondering if there is anything that they have besides the basic Green upgrade sequence. Cam type, injector type, alcohol...

There is no real magic secret for why they are so fast. A lot of the faster cars have some weight taken out of them. They also run on c16 or VP import fuel and methanol on top of that, which allows for very aggressive tunes. Lastly I think most of them run either a drag radial or even a full out drag slick on smaller tires.
Lastly, I am sure they all are tuned very well.

I have a Evo Green full bolt-ons everything except alky. That will probably be my next step in the spring. I don't track my car but I hope to get in some AutoX's before I deploy to Iraq.

Dadriva and OKIX both had stock engines/heads and went 10's on the green. They both had BR Stages 1-4, ported stock manifolds, BR ported intake, BR 65mm throttle bodies, Dadriva had 272 cams, OKIX had HKS272 cams, Dadriva had an AEM EMS I tuned, OKIX uses a stock ECU that 9sec9 tunes.

dude, 27/28 psi that still high ... I'm spiking at those numbers ... my car normally runs 21/22 Psi ...

If thats the case, I'm gonna give this EVO Green Turbo a go ... see what happens, when I dial up the pressure ....

Cheers.

This isn't 1992 21 psi is nothing.

I remember way back when I was running 18 psi and guys were flipping out with the original DSM that started all this for us. Then we slowly, over the years, snuck up on 25 psi on race gas, then 30 etc. Now we run 30 psi on a daily basis on 93 octane.

Just having supporting mods that "exceed the BR Stage 4 by a country mile" doesn't gaurantee anything. The mods have to work together or they are useless.

^^ LOL.

Great thread. Those stock ECU timing numbers are wild.

Are these cars ever driven on 93 octane? What kind of performance have you achieved on that?
