Exclamation where goes engine oil travel in order?

Sorry for the double post,

When the engine comes out hot from the engine block where does it go?
does it go the engine cooler through the engine cooler feed line then gets cooled, then goes to the oil filter and then though the oil pump and back into the head?

A: Does it go to the filter > oil cooler feed > oil cooler > oil cooler return > oil pump > engine > cycle completed... etc.

B: Does it go to the oil cooler feed > oil cooler > oil cooler return > oil filter > oil pump > engine > cycle completed... etc.

The reason I ask is because by knowing this flow then many people can make a good educated guess on to which one the two taps on the oil filter bracket connect an oil temperature and oil pressure sender.

Im making the assumption that the feed line bring oil in the cooler and that a return line carries it out. correct?

I think it should be your option A but I do not know for sure how they designed it. Filtering the oil first would serve two purposes. First, you would keep all the debris out of the cooler. Second, higher temp oil will flow through the cooler with less restriction.

I am running my Oil temp sender in my blank by the oil filter and the highest temps I have seen is 180F, even on the dyno/highway pulls it still read 180F. This seems way low for Oil temps, anyone know why or have an explanation?

which one of the two taps did you use? I was told one is before the oil goes into the cooler (the higher one towards the side/front) and the other after the cooler

I don't know off the top of my head but it is configured only one way due to the fact my pressure sender is in the other one.

Anyone else provide any info on low reading oil temps in the blank plugs. I am seeing 180F when I am on it.

well I was asking because I am doing the same setup, maybe you should try inverting the sensors. I mean my engine bay reached 165F-180F on a hot day here in FL. I know this because the oil temp sensor is sitting in then engine bay as we speak close to the block. so I am sure the oil is much higher then that.

95? Hmm, my stock oil temp gauge has never registered over 75, maybe 78. Regardless how hot it is and how much an asshat I've been with the car.
