Wondered about maxing it out? might have to go w/ a double pumper?

My tuner has typically been making right around 400whp/400ft lbs w/ the Green & supporting mods

500whp w/ a green is beyond it's capabilities-I stretched mine for everything it had and could only muster 487whp-I guess that's real close to 500
what was your tq?

yea the walbro 255 is done somewhere around 26 to 27 at 11.0 but we r staying in the high 10's! air to fuel and they are 1000cc pte injectors! we are thinking about some rc 1000's to see if that helps!

Thanks, I'm switching to E85 with the stock turbo next week. I'll post the numbers as soon as it's off the dyno.

great thread. congrats Justin on the awesome numbers. You have an amazing, and very clean machine. Im fred from raleigh with the red RS i dont if you remember but you helped me find 418 when I was in hickory to get my clutch installed. Im sure you can see some lower 11's with a good 60 foot. A 130mph trap will impress me even more. Take care bro!

the boost is not spiking so that cuts out alot of torke. the reason why is the walbro just cant pump it fast enought to keep up when the boost comes on! i target for high 10's to keep it safe! plus with stock motor who knows what could happen with damage! i tend to lean towards keeping the car safe and reliable and not dangerous. plus look at it this way he dont need it the way he drives.

I definitely remember, I was rocking mom's Cavalier that day. I'm going to start with some basic weight reduction (bumper beams, spare tire, etc) and shoot for 11.5's @ 120mph+. Since there is no local 1/4 mile track at this time, I'll probably only have 1/8 mile time slips until next years shootout.

I believe a lot of that to be because of the boost level. I have the boost set to run 26psi across the board for now. I actually made more peak torque (411wtq) with the stock turbo letting it spike 30psi, but the green has a nicer torque curve after the initial boost hit. We believe with a dual pump, that 30psi isn't out of the question. I should make a little bit more power, but a good amount more torque.
