I have a prosport boost gauge with peak/hold. It reads around 16/17 lbs normally when i get on it. I know that is not stock,its lower boost. My mods are AMS tbe w/ tp,aem intake, and mbc. I hear mods like this w/o a tune, boosting lower is possible. Is that true, or is my gauge wrong?

 

gauge is wrong is my guess. Do you have any other gauge/reference you can compare it to?

What exactly are you asking? If the boost level is too low, then why not just turn the knob on your boost controller to increase boost? Some Evo VIII´s(but yours is a IX) can have boost as low as 16-17 PSI stock. Mine did!

 

I am asking if it is possible for my boost to be low. I am not going to turn boost up w/o a tune when idk if the gauge is wrong or my boost is actually running low do to my mods
