What are the best cam gears?

I have been looking around and can't decide on which cam gears to get. I have thought of AEM, Fidanza, Tomei, and others but which one is really better?

Any help will be appreciated.

Miguel

I like the AEM. I have used Fidanza but not Tomei.

I have the Fidanza's and I had to end up rebuilding the lock down bolts/studs and nuts. Just not somthing I would probably re-purchase or if I did I would go down and again buy a much stronger allen bolt to stud and an actual locking nut instead of the cheap ones that come with them. Really the only problem with them, just my opinion but the HKS and AEM don't look to have that same problem.

Before you put them on go down and get a stronger stud and an actual locking nut for them. It just makes things easy. Not hard to do but if you are going to adjust them the added support is nice. If not just be care and don't over or under tighten.

Just make sure whatever you get has the 5 bolt design (Fidanza or Jun...not sure if Jun has them now). The AEM 3 bolt design when making big power will not stay put. I am running the Fidanza which is the same as what Titan uses on their big 2JZ's making insane power and they seem to hold up quite well.

evodan, be real careful with those gears. Make sure you check the bolts regularly or change em out. View my other thread for reference.

I just ordered the AEM from Z1 Performance...Great deal!! I was also thinking of getting the Unorthodox ones, (the better series) but can't go wrong with red AEM's and a clear valve cover.

Thanks for everyones opinion!!
