Threw a new code today: P0113 - Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input

Not really sure why. Mods in sig. Last night I did a boost leak test for the second time. Hooked everything back up to spec.

Today is the coldest day I have ever started the car up in while owning it. Its about 40 degrees with about 25-30mph winds and drizzling all day. I backed it out of my garage & within a minute, the CEL popped on.

Scanned it when I got home from work & received a P0113 - Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input.

I have never received something like this. What do you say the cause is? Im going to go outside & make sure all my connections to the MAS are right. I didnt even remove the filter from the intake when I removed the intake from the turbo last night to perform the boost leak test.

Is the air filter OK? The only time I heard something similar (not in an Evo) was that the Air filter was obstructed, but the power loss was noticeable which I don't think is not your case as you did not mention anything like that. But I would check it anyhow

I just went out side & checked everything. The air filter is 3 months old. Still looks brand new. I unplugged the MAS plug and blew on it, as well as the connectors on the MAS. I checked the filter & everything is on very tight. I connected everything back up, cleared the code & drove around the block. The CEL did not come back on for some reason & its colder outside than it was earlier. I forgot this morning it was like 55-60 and a cold front just moved in... to make it 40F.

With more driving, it might tell otherwise.

Also, to add to this... a local speed shop put in my WORKS throttle body seals yesterday, so they did remove the throttle body. I checked the sensor on the back of the throttle body & it seems to be very tightly sealed as well.

If this is the last mod you did to your car then this is the cause of the problem. See if the CEL pops again, then do a boost leak test and check the install

I finished doing a boost leak test last night actually. Throttle body seals were leaking heavily, so I had new seals put in yesterday. Drove 3 miles home. After leak testing, the throttle body seals were fixed with no leak. I had 1 other leak, which was a vacuum hose behind the intake manifold. One of the nipples had rubbed through the vacuum line causing a hole. Replaced vacuum line & is tightly on. Pressure tested again afterwards and had 0 leaks. Didnt start the car afterwards until this morning...in which I got the CEL instantly backing out of the driveway.

Like I just said, I drove around the block & the light didnt come back on after un-plugging/blowing on the connections to the MAS and then plugging it back on.

Maybe it was just a random CEL. I had P0505 twice in a day, cleared both times and haven't seen them since
