poping sputter sounds (please read)
That is a very uneducated statement. Please keep your mis-information to yourself.
update:
did a boost leak test .. had a small leak .. fixed it.. still same sputtering and backfiring .. sounds like a missfire just dont gave a CEL.
Can you get a missfire without a CEL? im swapping coils with a friend tomorrow to see if that helps.
The sputtering and backfiring from the exhaust (sometimes a LOUD pop will come somewhere from the engine bay - also feels like i've lost 100whp) will come while reving between 2500-3500 while coasting around 20mph, but NOT at idle. it's strange..
I attached a link to my 3rd gear log to see if that helps determine where the problem is.. im not sure it can help because in the log i dont get any sputtering and backfiring..its only when i rev.

turne the boost down log the a/f if too rich it will pop and misfire you said you have an aem so you might not get a check engine light even if you have a misfire with the aem, not sure, if your running too rich you will backfire in the exhaust which would be a loud popping sound as well, if you are running too rich the car will actually feel slower, my best bet right now from the info is your running too rich i didnt look at your log but ill do that later on tonight and let you know

your running rich as hell whether you think so or not if the car is backfiring like crazy you are running too rich go over the manifold and make sure everything is tight, check the intercooler and intercooler piping, then get tuned your injectors may not be scaled correctly check that as well
as stated above, check the injector scaling. check the injector connection points. make sure they are correct. sounds like maybe an injector wiring fault?? is your FPR hose connected?? check that also...may have a small leak there in the hose, thus your fuel pressure will not rise correctly and you will have a "lean" pop out the exhaust..
if your sure the bov is on correctly and you have a wideband we need some numbers, maybe a/f before popping and during maybe after. does the car stumble/stall after the popping?
so lets keep it simple, you need air, fuel and spark for the right combo of power. Now you said you tried the coilpacks and still nothing, so most likely it isnt spark. you gotta remember that not only the fuel/timing maps can mess with settings. If you for some reason accidently lets say chagned your your timing, maf scaling or inj scaling, they can all contribute so i say double check your settigns against stock roms. also "resetting" the ecu wont change settigns you made by flashing.

I cant look at your log, but I think your injector scalling is way off. If you loaded the stock tune set for stock injectors and still had the problem it could be injector related.
Try tightening all the bolts from the turbo hotside back to eliminate the possibility of an exhaust leak.

Testudo, how can it be injector related if i put back my pre-injector tune and stock injectors and it's still backfiring and poping like crazy, i dont understand..

Why does your log not have AFR's?
Maybe you messed with injector wiring? Now maybe one is leaking all the time and you get backfire. When you pulled your plugs , were they all dry?
