hk2ronin, you are so right my man... When I had my clutch done the guy used redline in the TC - well wuddaya know... a couple weeks later theres a noise coming from that area... Stick with the Diaqueen and avoid the hassle and save yourself a lot in the long run.

My point exactly. There has been thread after thread about other fluids ruining the transfer case. This is just one example but trust me there are a ton of them on here.

You dealership is giving you bul l s hit in capital letters. They do sell gallons of Diaqueen, I have some in my garage. The Red line is OK I have used it for a while.

I would not mix MTL and MT-90. I'd just use straight MT-90 in the tranny.

Hey fellas, I'm in Truckee. Don't use anything but the OEM Mitsubishi fluids in your tranny, diff and transfer case.

I've been using the "MR" diaqueen tranny fluid in my 5 speed, and diaqueen LSD fluid in my diff and transfer case. NO problems. I have 105K miles on my car and my drivetrain is still running great.

I auto-x, drag, and do a lot of spirited driving, while making good power so it's not like I baby the car. No matter what anyone says, just stay with the OEM fluids.

You can come up to Truckee and see for yourself if you want, just look up Quality Automotive and Smog. There's three of us that work here that own Evo's.

RedLine MT90 is a REPLACEMENT for the OEM tranny fluid. I had a conversation with AMS about this. They have heavier weight stuff you can do, like the mix, for when your tranny will be really hott all the time.

I run Redline MT90 and have NO problems, BUT i stick the the OEM fluids for the TC and Diff... I think you should too, unless you are tracking the car or launching, then some shock would work, redline makes it, its like heavy shock and light shock i think. I know AMS runs it, so i would personally call them, they know their S^*t... And,, they have no problem answering ANY questions you have.
