Clutch Stop

I did a search but nothing shows at all!!!

Does any of oyu have a clutch stop on your car? It seems like it would be helpfull on the Evo. I guess you would just need to disconect the clutch switch so it would work with the clutch stop. Thanks

Im picking on what your saying now - its a stop behind the pedal that is adjustable to shorten how far you can push the pedal. Ideally, you have it so its just past the point where the disengagement is on the clutch.

And no I dont.

Will the BMWs fit onto the Evo?

You might be the first to try this out

ok, I had a half hour to waste so I went in the garage!!

Here is what you have stock:

if you take that off, there is a 6mm stud underneath:

I made an ugly, temporary one to test, so yes I know it is ugly but it works right now. I will actually have one machined later. I just used what I had in the garage.

I used 6mm nuts, welded them together, and then welded a washer to it. I will add a piece of rubber on it too.

Here is it:

Here it is installed. I put a nut by itself behind it to be used as a counter nut to lock it in place.

so, I welded 8 nuts together, and I still have some good adjustment.
Now, the clutch engages maybe a half inch from the clutch stop. It make a very big difference. I also, of course, disconected the clutch switch, or this would not work.
It is very cool!!!

WARNING: once you do this, you won't be able to live without it!!
