This one's got me scratching my head a little over here, not that making power is a bad thing i just wouldnt have expected such an improvment on such a large cam with a small turbo. I would have to say that i believe a set of S1 cams will spool the same turbo 300-500 rpms sooner than the S2s did and i would bet the peak numbers would be with in 5 or so.

so this means with the s2s the car will feel powerless until reved high which will give more power than the s1s?

Not only the cams were changed, the mapper was too

Please don't assume the Dastek dyno over-reads, quite the opposite.
They are flywheel figures quoted, but wheel figures are shown on the graph too - the dyno uses coastdown losses to work out flywheel figures accurately.
Please note that they are relatively small, low inertia rollers, with no aggressive strapdown required, so wheel figures may be different to other dynos

So when using S2 with a stock turbo, amd I going to destory more low-mid range torque?

I like the upper RPM power the S2's (274's) will give, but I don't want to sacrifice my torque. I'll be upgrading to a 10.5 hotside, LICP, FMIC, o2 housing, ported manifold, along with GSC S1's or S2's this spring. Any suggestions on whether or not S1's or S2's. My car isn't a dyno queen, but I made 236whp/252tq on a mustang with what I have now, And my torque curve is awesome. I don't want to ruin that with the incorrect cam choice. I'm hoping for 280-300whp/290-310tq with the next round o' mods.

I read on GSC's website that S1's are recommended for stock turbos, but I see people run HKS 272's on the stock turbo, even some with 280's, and they're happy with it. Too many mixed opinions. I wish everybody agreed on everything
