Need Help from anyone with a 35R
I am considering installing a 35R on my car but I am concerned of the size of the T04S compressor housing.
Can someone give me the measurement from the center of the inlet to the outer edge of the compressor housing?
As you can see from the pic below, I have little space. I have a built 4G64 w/EVO head but its in a galant, and my starter is right at the front of the block, which is my concern that the compressor housing is too big and it will hit. The turbo in the pic is a SC61 with a T04E housing.

it's just under 4", closer to 3 5/8" if you're concerned about radiator clearance in your pic. If you measure where the turbo outlet starts, it's very close to 4", just a hair under, but it looks like you have room to spare if you clock the turbo the same way it's clocked in the photo.
Thanks for the help. Yeah I have plenty of radiator clearance, my main concern was the compressor housing hitting the starter. Right now I have a PTE SC61 with an E cover. Now I am realizing that the Garrett turbo has a little more offset between the turbine housing and the CHRA which will help push the turbo away from the motor, that is exactly what I want. Im still up in the air on the 35R, the current turbo can make over 500whp and I am still FWD sooo.....
