Buschur mini radiator

I just put one in my car and now my temp is higher than normal. I have a slim 10" fan on it and when I am at idle the temp is normal, its when I start cruising that it starts going up.

Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks

You have air in the system, or the over flow tank is low.

did you put a radiator funnel on it and let the car heat up till the thermostat kicks on??

do it...

put the funnel on..let the car come up to temp...and rev the engine ( in neutral parked ) so it gets hot..let it bubble ..see if it takes fluid ...and till it does not bubble anymore...

cap it...

Wanted to bump this thread because it's the only one I can find with the Buschur Mini Radiator in it..

Has anyone run this radiator on a daily driver? A real daily driver car, and what is your location in the US?

I am in Charleston, SC, and was wodering if this would be OK to run with out slightly hotter weather here.

Only TRUE daily drivers, how is it working with your car?

I'd say a good test would be some people from Florida, or the southern mid-west states...

I am also assuming that he doesn't have any A/C either?

I wanted to get the short one and remembered this is my DD not a drag car and I put at least 40 miles a day now, I was also told to stick with the Koyo or stock for DD in S. FL. which makes a lot of sense but if anyone from down here wants to try it you can let us know how it goes

Warning - I correct myself I have a BR HTA 35r and the Koyo radiator does not fit you have to use the factory or a mini (not recomended for DD I'm told)
found out yesterday the hard way from what I see I guess only a 16g or a 20g will fit since the Koyo is like double the width, anyone correct me if Im wrong

I think that CBRD has a narrow aluminium radiator available now that might be another option for those who can't fit 35R kits with a Koyo.

Correct me if i'm wrong but does dave's DD Evo an RS (meaning no A/C). Further too, it might not effect the temps but he only runs c16 race fuel.

Food for thought.
