front axles

from what I understand most people don't upgrade all..

if they are bad the upgrades probably wont fix it if its broken in the hubs

well i don't know how to figure it out what is wrong. once in while when turning or going over the bumps I hear knocking noise in the front right wheel.

that sounds like a suspension issue.

are you running stock or after market... check the shock and the spring for movement. If its a coil over there are tons of people with experience in that department

I wouldn't buy front axles, I cannot imagine you breaking one. We are running 8's on the stock axles in our EVO. I didn't even know anyone made a set of fronts.

When I sold my 1991 AWD Talon to John Shepherd I had 760 passes on the stock front axles. Last year he was still running them.

the suspension is all stock

David so if it is not a axles what else could it be?

I'm guessing there isn't a need considering most of the weight gets shifted to the rear on launch so most straing gets put on the rear wheels.

Are the rear axles as tough or did you have to replace those more often?

ive snapped a rear axle with under 700whp so i am sure DB has upgraded ones on the race car.. i dont think he does on the white car tho..

Worn tie rods, dead ball joints or worn sway bar bushings.

The only way to know is to have someone take a look at it. There's only so much somone can tell you about a clunking sound on the internet.
