This is a fully built 2.3 Jackson motor running the stock ecu, with a 50trim. 93oct.

The only thing that was changed at the time is the cams!! The dyno sheet is SAE corrected already. It is a mustang dyno...

Run 2 was with Buddy Club 264/272 cams. Run 1 was the new Brian Crower 280/280s. Stock cam gears on both.

This translates to a pretty big difference on the street, throughout the whole power band! At about 1psi lower of boost too.

Thanks Chad and Mark at CBRD for the install and tune, each time we get closer to my goal.

It looks like under 4500rpms the other cams were better. What am I missing?

 

Strange pull... why not hit it at 2500 and run it out to 8000?

were using roller based speed... rpm is off a little, but the power numbers dont change...

i only rev the strokers to 7100 rpm, mine sometimes 8000...

Yes...Chad tuned the car both times.

 

Looks like the crowers where still making power after 6400 when the dyno pull was stopped.

Are Brian Crower Cams re-grinds or new billet cores? How much for the set?

I'm going to be running the S2's

 

I gained about 30whp over the BC 280s going to the S2 cams. We measured the lobes on both. The S2 cams had a much more aggressive ramp up. The lift was about the same.

 

i dont think they are worth that, not from what ive seen..

we use lots of GSC cams... but i think they could bring the bottom end back a little and keep the top end power...

BC cams are about half the cost...
