Be very very careful though. The hotside has some weight to it and as soon as it breaks loose, it could cause some damage. Especially if the O2 housing is still attached. Make sure you're holding on to it. The turbine blades can handle a slight bump or two, but just take your time.

Recruit a helper to assist you in the removal of the hotside as an extra set of hands will prove useful. Use a thin, flat blade srewdriver and work it between the center housing and the turbine housing. The exhaust housing is cast iron and heavier than it looks. It tends to pop off all of a sudden and will crash down onto the turbine blades all of a if you donīt have someone holding onto it. So, be careful.
