I have a fidanza kevlar clutch and flywheel and stock suspension. I making some pretty decent power right now (349 whp/357 ft tq). I know my t-case is going sooner or later because the whining has started. Any inputs on going stock or shep(what stage)?
I'm 68k. I can hear slight whine up to 35mph above that I can't hear it. But I must have the windows down and stereo off in order to hear it. It tends to whine a little louder when it's cold. I hope it doesn't go :-/
But anyway, I've heard ot stock t-case working past 500whp. of course with anything else on a car, more power will cause more stress which usually leads to quicker failure. But it'll hold up.

Thanks. I would like to get a shep t-case but I don't have the time to install it and some shops charge more than the oil trade to intall it. I'll stick with the mitsu then. thanks again.
best thing to do is call shep and let him know what goals you have with the car as far as WHP etc.. hell advise you of what you need.. in my experience though if you damage your stocker alot of times shep will not rework it and put his name behind the tcase..
