So yesterday i was driving and all of a sudden the Evo sounds like its running on 3 cyl. Get out the car, first thing comes to mind was probalby a leak. Looked around didnt find anything. Drive home asap, jack up the car and nothing. Got under the car and the noise coming from the motor and oil pan sounded terrible! Started to look around the block and other parts and look what i discovered.On top of that for some reason at the same time my Forge mbc broke, the knob that turns the boost up and down blew out and i found it on top of the turbo outlet pipe! The weirdest things only happen to me

 

Looks like an easy fix..Just clean up the area,and take it somewhere with a welder,or to somebody you know who can weld..If you were closer,i would say bring it to me..I could have that fixed in like five minutes..Good luck,hope you get it fixed soon..Justin

So which came first guys, the blown bung killing the MBC, or the MBC dying and causing the bung to blow out? Because of the rust, I'm guessing the bung killed the MPC somehow.

Glad I got my O2 housing Jet Hot coated - it looks brand new after 8 months of use.
