evos need a fast spooling turbo beause of the awd system and because the fact the car is a heavy pig.
my buschur gt30r on my evo has no bottom end at all. it has problems going up hills on 2nd gear at 2k rpm.
my integra with a much bigger 60-1 turbo and it spools slower but feels great at the bottom end because the can is just so much lighter. when it spools 1psi, it feels better thna the evo at 10psi.

just get the gt35r. evos need the faster spool

This is a Terrible looking powerband to me bro..
Even if you did turn up the boost..
Some people like to hall **** through a few gears for a few thousand RPMS, and more power to them

That was a on 03, TT 2.3 stroker with AEM EMS and sc61, unknown cams, cam gears, magnus intake manifold... sold the car almost a year ago, right when the turbo died, it was a drag setup

Go with gt35...

for quick spool & more linear power- buy the GT35R

for slightly slower spool, hammer hitting power, & lifetime use for 1/2 the price- SC61

if BB turbos were superior to journal bearing units (from a longevity perspective), the EVO's & all other factory turbo cars would come with BB turbos.

or option 3- take ur stock turbo, add a BB center section & 4" compressor housing, proper tuning=450whp on a stock motor...

also for MAN power (2000+hp or run faster than 7sec) u can't use a BB turbo bcuz they don't make them big enuff:
