advice please

i took apart my turbo to put an evo 9 turbo on my eighrt i bought the conversion kit but i broke some of the bolts that i'm going to need. i need to buy 1 bolt and 2 nuts that go on top on the hot side above the manifold. and two nuts that hold the o2 housing and hot side together. i went to car parts store and they did not have it. where could i get these, and what kind of metal grade are they?

by the head of that bolt you can definitely tell that its not a grade 8 bolt or nut.....most likely a grade 5......were they the stock nuts and bolts or did they come with the kit you bought? go to home napa and have them match them up.....if that doesnt work u might have to get it from the dealer

You could get them from a dealer.
BTW metric hardware does not come in grade 5 or 8.
Look on the head of the bolt and it will say 8.8 or 10.9

I was worried about the heat aspect of these bolts, so ordered oem.

talk to Russellm, he should be able to get you the parts in a hurry. he is a vendor status guy.

I would think you would be able to find what your looking for at a hardware store. I often ask for help looking for the bolts just because there are so damn meny.

I would recommend getting the highest grade you can. And use ANTI-seize, that stuffs great.
