Perrin FMIC users please help!!!

Update: It seems I'm missing some spacers for the drivers side bracket. I am now running into a different problem, even after using a wack-*** spacer that I had laying around the house, the core still doesn't line up. The driver side bracket with spacer make the passenger side bracket stick out making it look like the passenger side needs a spacer too, but from some install pic's it seems the passenger side doesn't have a spacer. Nothing seems to line up.

Am I doing something incorrectly?

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am in the process of installing my Perrin FMIC and can't seem to get it to fit. There are hard lines right below it that are hitting the back of the FMIC and not letting it fit/line up properly.

Even when I make it connect with the one side, the fmic looks lobsided and hits these two hard lines (if you stare at the bumper then the left end tank).

Here's a pic of the line it hits at the bottom, its the one by the black hook

I bought the FMIC used and all I got were 2 couples plus the core, should there be more to help with the install? ANY HELP WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATED!!!

Thanks

No, it's not about it looking straight or even, it's about it hitting the hard lines and not allowing the FMIC to even go on

I don't know if I want to be bending anything to be honest...I'm hoping some perrin user's may shed some light, I don't want to be hasty.

Looks like it does need spacers + longer bolts...

Here's a good install guide that may help others...

Any know if it needs anything else?

When I installed my perrin, I had to loosen all on the intercooler piping and get a longer coupler for the uicp just so it would "fit" correctly. I could only get the top mount to line up without any modification. Going Buschur next time.

yeah, we never have fitment issues with the perrins core...

i forgot to send the bolts, since it was a used core, but that is my mistake, they are going out today overnight...

i always remove the licp or atleast move it FAR out of the way to get the core into place and bolted up... you may have to leave the top nut (on the stud from the center rad support) loose, and the two bolts before you fit the ic pipes.

Doesn't the perrin only have 2" inlet and outlets?
