ramhorn exhaust manifold, vendors get in on this

Ok so i sold my evo because it had too many complications and was turning into a money pit so im looking at buying a 03 with the BR35r kit on it and right now it has the normal exhaust manifold on it but i wanna get a ramhorn manifold on it and dont know where to find one for a good price. or, is it even really worth the money?

rnr and invidia both make ram horn style manifolds, as far as being worth it, for stock turbo applications they have proven to show only moderate gains, but for a 35r id imagine a different situation, so i couldnt say.

Why wouldn't you contact Buschur? They usually have good prices on every thing and will tell you the advantages/disadvantages.

You sold a 05 to get a 03? Why would you do something like that?

I know www.straightlinespecialties.com sells them. I had them do some work on my rx7, and was really happy with the results.

because i bought my evo and it had stuff done to it already and it was all good and fine but just kept having alot of little things go wrong with it and i couldnt afford to keep getting it fixed and then i found this evo that has the same milage as mine did and the turbo only has like 2k miles on it and the car is extremely clean. ive thought about contacing BR but havent had the chance so ill probably end up doing that. normally after my last situation with buying a evo thats already modded i wouldnt do that but i KNOW i can trust everything about this car.

im pretty impressed with the straightline specialties manifold, as far as invidia go's i know they make good parts i need to research it more and rnr went outa business awhile back i thought? i wanted to buy a turboback exhaust from them when i had a dsm and was told they were gone. i wanna see what i can find from BR first thought because it would make more sense to match the manifold with the turbo etc. I just dont wanna end up paying $1k for a manifold...the manifold thats on the car right now is a ported stock manifold with jet coating or something and it looks really clean so im thinking about just being a heat shield and going for kinda a stealthy look.

If ur going with buschur, then might as well get the complete kit from them rather than just the turbo, besides, u want something with a heat shield and going for the stealth look, right?

Something like that, u know. U can still bolt on a heat shield on it. I believe that it comes with the turbo. (although it's polished)

thats whats on the car already, the ad is on this website its the fastest stock block evo on record with a 10.61. im just deciding if i wanna keep that manifold and buy like a arc heat shield or buy a ramhorn manifold. i just dont know what performs better
