just installed my new engine .
jam 2.3l short block
jam stage4 fully ported cilender head
gsc s2 cams

last nite after the installation of my new engine
im doin the break in now but plz tell me that the noise of the engine is too loud as compared to stock when its cold and after while it gets better when the engine gets warm .
i just want to know that is this normal ?
the cold starting is very loud and i get scared like somthing is broken but i know every thing in the engine is running perfect .

What kind of noise does it make? This is a very general question.

 

what pistons do you have? If they're JE, chances are your hearing them because they expand and contract at twice the rate of most others and you have low compression when its cold

 

wat kinda noise ?tough question .....
very loud ticking and vibration but when i press the accelarator its a smooth engine .
i know forged pistons doo make some noise when they r cold so i wana know that is this noise normal ..
they r venolia pistons and oliver rods .
and gsc s2 cams .
