I will always keep it filled, and not be one of the dumb-dudes who let it run out. My current situation is kinda like this.

1. install the snow performance stage 2 kit and use it until I can upgrade stuff
2. don't install it, and have slightly high intake temps. Retard timing to adjust and loose power.
theres all sorts of failure besides running dry.
-kinked line
-loose power connection
-faulty pump
-line coming lose
the list goes on and on...
here is the most recent incident: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=315118 - which potentially could have been prevented if the trigger point is set above WG using the aquamist dds3's safety operating window setting the flow lo + flow hi setpoints.

its a risk w/o failsafe...

Damn, that sux

Ya, could have been prevented if the trigger point is set above WG using the aquamist dds3's safety operating window setting the flow lo + flow hi setpoints PLUS the zeitronix zt-2.

As for the zt-2, SlowCar, do I still need the ZR-1 gauge for it? Or I can do fine without it?

What u think about "mating" the HFS-5 with Aem Uego instead of the zt-2? Not a good idea?

Thats a stupid idea. The AEM is worthless.

The ZEITRONIX is the whole brains behind the safeguards.

Thanx for letting me know. Glad that I didn't buy the AEM yet.

As for the display of my AFR if I wanna see it on my dash, the ZR-1 should be fine to check it when I don't have the laptop around, rite?

i'm using the existing groove in the uicp

i put a bevel in one edge of the circlip and there is a centering oring that goes between the axial mount abd the uicp to keep it centered and snug

I'm just planning on drilling/tapping the pipe, and it'll just spray 90* to the airflow.

The only problem is that they don't have the "Safe Injection" that monitors flow right now, but they do have the "low level indicator". I could possibly wire that up to my boost controller to have it run very low boost if the level is low, my only problem is that the signal isn't strong enough. And the "scramble boost" setting gets activated by a ground, not by power. Hmm....I'm sure there is a solution here, I just have to think through it.

Also, I was looking at this
http://www.coolingmist.com/detailmain.aspx?pid=05
But again, it just lights up a light.
I'm a little late, but I already have the safe injection kit from snow performance on me but not installed yet. I had it for about a month or so. I got it from Ultimate CC, including the Low Level Indicator, and the Safe Injection Wastegate Solenoid. Just PM him.

And for how much meth I use a month... Hmmmm... A 5 gallon of VP M1 last me a really long time... 2 months depending how hard I drive it...

the AEM UEGO is worthless because it does nothing but display AFR on a gauge. and it does that poorly. the gauge seems to have a very high latency from my experience with it (i've compared them directly against zeitronx, innovative, and widebands on a dyno). also out of the box it cannot even data log with a PC which is one of the biggest reasons for getting a wideband.

I can data log with EVOscan. All I had to do was solder up a serial cable, and get a serial to usb converter.

And, as for the latency.... I guess I'll just have to suck it up. I can't change stuff now.
