As for sensors, the EGR provision is removed, as with every other aftermarket intake manifold. Yes, it can be used with the stock ECU.
I agree, but running the stock ECU with the MAF, 91 Octane, etc. is not optimal either. Everything is a compromise but it should work fine.

Do you extend every hose/vacuum hose or are there any that remain the same. How many ports are needed to retain most of the stock hoses?

I should be able to remove the EGR no problem with the JDM MAP Sensor.

I agree, it will work..just not optimally. A couple of the vac hoses need to be extended but most don't. The standard amount of vac ports that come with the manifold would be sufficient for you.

so how do you prevent the MIL from coming on with the EGR removed? Can a tuner disable the light?

I know a couple of the bigger tuners were looking into it but i'm not sure if any of them have found the way to disable the EGR circuit. It's just something everyone with a stock ECU has dealt with that's running an aftermarket manifold.

Chris@JNZTuning,

So what you are saying is if I rotate this hose I can use the stock upper IC pipe with no problems?

Not that coupler...the one in the front of the engine bay. But yes, if you rotate the front coupler the opposite way you can use the stock intercooler pipe.

Here's the pic he sent me. I know it's not the best but it shows it installed. If you need more pics i'll have to see if I can get him to come in again.
