i believe basic hand tools, shouldn't be all that difficult, just make sure to mark the vac lines so you remember where the go

Have a friend of yours that has a Lancer park next to you so you could compare engines. Makes install a lot easier. That way you know where everything goes back.

Get a manual handy for the first time you do this...there are many small wires and vacuum hoses that will need plugging back in and a manual is really helpful in getting everything right. After you've done it a couple of times it is pretty easy to do though.

Not a hard install at all just unplug fuel injector lines,
vacuum hoses, remove bolts for manifold, transfer
throttle body and put back RRM manifold..no special
tools needed just remember how everything goes back
if you need a service manual mitsu dealer is where to
buy em..install was bout 1.5 hrs its a masterpiece haha
go RRM

Got my intake manifold installed today finally. I've gotta say, whewwww. Depending on your motor skills, this install is not the easiest in the world. I give omarboy25 mad props if he actually installed this in 1.5 hours. He must have had all the right tools and then some. I on other hand installed it in a garage with no lights in it, at night. Only light I had was one pull down mechanics light. I also was missing a couple tools that would have helped out alot. I guess hardest part was the cramped engine bay and the actual pulling out of stock manifold and reinserting of the new one. Bolts and all the plugs are obvious as many have said. I'm sure most people on here can pull install off but, be ready to have patience and 5 hoursto spare, if your first time. There is alot smoother acceleration though as omarboy25 said. Any direct questions about install, PM me.
