Im just trying to find out how long these motors will last. Im thinking of doing stroker with 35r or 30r so how many miles do you guys have on your built motors?

I think one way to answer the question... is to say that, if you want an Evo to make let's say 600+ hp... it costs a lot of money, and I would be willing to bet, most people who reach that goal have gone through a motor or two.
You read all the time on this board about people making a ton of power, what I think you hear less of is how much it really ended up costing.
From the way Buschur describes the motors he sells, you'd think they never fail. But with all the wannabe tuners out there, I find it hard to believe there isn't a lot of failures. You just don't hear about them though.
But I would say that generally, if a motor is built well, tuned well, and nothing goes mechanically wrong outside of the bottom end, then the motor will last a very, very long time... IF it is built well, all clearances are checked, fasteners torqued properly, etc.

Speaking of boost... it was somehow common knowledge that like 21 psi was the max boost for pump for a long, long, long time on this board. What does that mean? Nobody was making that great of power on pump. Therefore, not running a lot of miles with a lot of power.
Also another thing to mention....
To give you an example of engine longevity when it is built right. My tuner Mark Shead from England built a motor for a customer about 4 years ago. This last year that same car and motor won it's class in the UK Time Attack series.
So when built, and probably more importantly, tuned well, I think it will last as long as a stock motor.
