I have the same problem, I thought maybe its just my own fault but it seems like its been happening to a lot of people. I guess its just from the way its made.

Mine would only "block" me out if I didn't line up the synchros before take off. After I installed my lower poly motor mount I can no lift shift anytime I choose.

Check your clutch pedal adjustment. You may not be getting full disengagement.

Your stock clutch is nearing the end of it's "useable" lifespan. You can try and "adjust" pedal height as posted above but that only seems to be a "bandaid" on the stock clutch although it works well if you have an ACT clutch.Start saving up now for a new clutch. You could also try changing the transmissing gear lube out with some fresh stuff but from my experiences with the stock clutch, what you describe is usually an indication that your stock clutch is nearing the end of it expected lifespan.
One last thing that you may also consider is when living in a cold weather climate this is a Normal occurance when vehicle and outside temp is COLD...

True, I just realized that it only happened when its cold. However, sometimes it does happen when I'm accelerating on the freeway and shifting into 5th. Hasn't happened lately though. So flushing out the old fluid and putting in new fluid could possibly be a remedy?
