Does anyone know if there is a similar TSB for the '05? I've tried searching but haven't been able to find one yet. : /

I have the same problem also....shifting at high rpms from 4th to 5th fast gives me a grind but I just do like everyone else and let the rpms drop a little bit then go to 5th.

Just to add to the discussion, finally after 66,000 miles my transmission (stock 03) has started to grind when going into 5th. This happened after a really fast shift from 4th to 5th on a dragstrip. I've really beaten this transmission to death (its been rocking an exedy twin since day one) and only now has begun to show signs of abuse. I've been feeding it pennzoil syncromesh but I think its time to step up to a better synthetic fluid that doesnt wear out so fast. This problem is 100% THE SYNCRONIZER, and has absolutely nothing to do with clutch engagement. The only thing you can do to fix it is have your tranny rebuilt or try a better fluid.
