The Metal DV gonna be able to hang?

I'm just now getting my new kit on my car and ive been thinking about this DV ive got. It's been real good to me over the past 2 years and i dont mind keeping it but I 'm having my doubt about it being able to hold the boost good on this new setup . what you guys think? should i find a better bov or just wing it out?

thinking about APS, Forge DV, or the new tial recirculating one .

I'd say try it first before spending money on a repalcement BOV. A lot of it depends on how much boost you'll be running. Check with the guys at ETS to see what they advise. The consensus here on EvoM seems to be that it's good for 25#.

I've found that it lifts partially at a mere 11 PSI, eventhough supposedly it doesn't open fully until 25#. That's just my personal experience with my particular metal DV. The early lifting seemed to impact negatively upon turbo spoolup, so in the end I crushed it a bit in the vice.

Yeah i'm just worried about it trying to leak on me. i did noticed some corrosion inside looks like water had got into it some how and sat for awhile. but that was probably during my engine swap that took a million years. I'll just go test it and go from there I geuss.

+1 on trying it first; if it doesn't hold, go with the APS twin vent - I'm very happy with mine...

it says 23 psi, but honestly it was tuned for 24-25 i just lowered it because its been creeping on the stock setup. With the new kit its going back to 24 forsure.

It spikes 21-rises to 23 at redline so thats why i said 23.

Keep the stock one for now, there is no need to change it.
