Best season to tune???
If boost is kept the same, is it best to tune in the winter or the summer?
It would seem to me that with denser air in the winter, a winter tune should be safe in the summer. However, a summer tune may go lean in the winter. Is my thinking correct?
Yes, I already know that it would be possible to have a separate summer tune and winter tune. I'm just trying to understand how weather affects the EVO ECU.
Thanks...

since ur in AZ (my car's in Chandler) the weather change isn't that drastic enuff to go with separate tunes. i would tune in the summer so u don't have knock issues on the crappy 91octane gas. slightly leaner AFR's in the winter will only make more power since the air is cooler...

Your going to see temp changes all of the time. Just think about how different it is from say, high noon to midnight. It's colder at midnight, but no real reason to have separate tunes for just that reason since the air density is pretty consistent.
i would also give IA a call. they do alot of tuning in ur area & may be able to shed a lil more expertise...
