When Should I Tune (Winter or Summer)????

So curious......, should I tune my car during the Winter or Summer, or does it matter??? Knowing that environmental conditions (Winter:cooler, dryer air; Summer: warmer, moist air), can affect tuning a regular aspirated motor a bit, I'm a noobie with turbos.

I'd like the best tuning environment to yield the best results for all-around, year-round power....

Thanks for any input.....

I don't think season matters alot. I would just tune safe so that your not on the ragid edge either way.

tune in the summer.
if you get a sick tune in the winter because of the temperature in the winter.... then run that same tune in the summer, who knows what will happen. Safety first! I don't think in the winter your need more power than what the car is already capable of anyway.

Summer.

Try and tune for your average day during summer.
Ex: not on a super hot day, not on a really cool day.

Odds are you will be much happier with the tune.

PS: This winter I'm just gonna dial my boost back to be safe. Not like I am going to wot anyhow. It's going to go from home to work and back again (3-5kms) each day.

Near Edwards AFB, 2,500 ft, Winter can freeze, snow occasional every few years. Summer average 90deg, even 100+ at summers worst.........that's why I ask. Not all Socal averages 70-80

I appreciate everyone's input though....
