i have an turbo back exhaust,mbc.fuel pump,tune,upicp andl icp,280 hks cams. just woundering what you guys with the 280 cams are setting your cam gears at? or what would be tge best?

 

i prefered my hks 280 cams @ -3in/0ex = good top end with decent idle characteristics.

yeah, your going to read +2in/?ex = huge dog $hit for me.

i was running on 91 octane @ the time.....i am also using hks cam gears, not that should matter much.

move them around & tell everyone what your expereinces are...

 

On about every EVO I have played with -2 to -4 on the intake has allways been worth a good 10hp from 5k+ I found going much past 4 you did not gain any on top and really start losing low end.

 

It depends on what you favor more, best street power or best drag racing settings, and of course, your tuning. Setting for the best of one tends to compromise the other. Or, you can do something that represents a compromise between both. Pick your flavor.

 

i would probably go for one that compromise 4 both. ill mess with them and post my results.
