Did Shep recomended the Redline fluid?

That is probably the problem. I would only use DiaQueen in the t-case.

 

Shep recommended. And it had Diaqueen in it first and was louder.

I only have ACT single disk.

 

i used redline heavy shock in my t-case as per shep. my t case sounds just the same as with the oem stuff............

Then your t-case is just dead. I would check to make sure your fluid is full in the t-case. Remember after you fill it, drive it at speeds around 25mph, and then top it off.

Im sending mine tom to Shep. I will give a feedback once I got it and run it.

 

Still have the problem at ~ 280miles, still trying to figure it out.

 

still think you should put some more miles on it and change the fluid then.

 

I just had my t-case and trans done by shep.... using redline that he recomended I have noise, and it sounds odd... almost like when I busted the diff in the first place... anyways... bringint it back to the shop tomorrow... only 25 miles on it

 

Well, I've had the fluid change at ~ 1500 miles with no change in the noise. There was only about 6 oz of fluid in the TCase and was determined that it was leaking, so that was replaced. The noise is still there and is now said its coming from my transmission.

This whole thing has been a complete mess. I'm debating on selling the evo.

 

Man i feel your pain. Paid to have mine rebuilt, made more noise then before i sent it. Sorry to hear.
