Are the flanges 304 too? or are they steel?

Of course I still haven't heard anything so take your time answering.
I think I am going to call AMS and see if they will just give me the availability and get it from them.

well, install is complete... went real smooth... only snags were i had to unwrap the tie that was holding the O2 sensor to the underbody, as the O2 bung on the b-pipe was a little more downstream than the stock piece...

overall the fitment is really good, but the can does not sit in the center of the cutout... it's a little to the left... not a big deal, and i may try and mess with the hangers a bit to even it out...

sound is intoxicating... nice deep rumble... at idle it only hints at an aftermarket exhaust... at throttle just a nice deep burble...

at cruising speeds of 50,60,70 in 5th gear you wouldn't even know it had an aftermarket exhaust...

as far as performance...? i couldn't feel any difference... but i wasn't expecting any either, so... but i didn't really get on the boost... cause i only live about 10 minutes from my shop...

well, i will get some pics and a vid posted after i get a chance to clean the car up...

oh yeah, the flanges look stainless as well... and you lose about 10 pounds with this setup...

Those welds look sweet. AMS does real good welding. I have have seen some welds jobs from other companies and these are far from it (good side).

Vendors don't usually make their own mufflers. That is why it says "vibrant."

Those welds are top notch. You won't find any better. Gorgeous!

That sounds a bit high, the JIC magic can be bought for that price and it definitely rocks! I got the VRS cat back for $490 and it works really well. It's all Stainless except the hangers and it comes with a pre-muffler too.... Sound is great but I could not tell much of a performance improvement except in the WOT top end where it seemed to gain a bit more power (It seemed to choke at those levels before).

i don't think it was too much... most of the catbacks that are full stainless are about that price...

i don't like the way the JIC sounds, and i also do not like the slant muffler style they have...

VRS...? who's that...?

nice exhaust! i don't know about that vibrant muffler though! my friend had a vibrant muffler on a custom exhaust on his integra and it developed a nice hole in it
