Blow Off Valve question
I currently have a HKS SSQV blow off valve in my 05 EVO 8. I love the bov but ever since i installed it my car has been backfiring a lot. i previously had an APS bov and when i had that installed my car didnt back fire at all. Anyone know y the HKS bov is causing backfire and y my APS bov didnt?
I think you have already answered your own question. VTA bovs are notoriously bad for stalling problems with our car. Put your APS back on ASAP. It is one of the best ones out there.

Search VTA. But it is NOT good for MAF cars. Its been beat a ton of times. I dont want to type it out anymore.
