This is what happened... I was at the track and i was shifting into 5th and all the sudden i hear a crack sound like i snapped something... but the funny thing is i can still shift into all gear no problem but when im shifting aggresively into either 3rd or 5th it feels like the shifter is rubbing up against something before fully engaging into gear also when im at a stand still 1st gear does the same thing .... im thinking its the shifter cable but i just wanted to hear other peoples opinion before i go and order that part

 

you are prolly talking about the grind that a lot of people talk about when shifting into those gears... i am thinking of having my tranny rebuilt by sheptrans to get it from doing that... you might want to think of it as "normal" since we hear a lot of on the forums... you might want to just check the shift cables just in case... perhaps your clutch pedal needs to be adjusted higher and see how that goes...

 

its def not a grind... cause this just started happening after i shifted into 5th really hard that one night but yea i will try adjusting my pedal first
