T-Case fluids
is it absolutely a must to run the oem diaqueen in there, or can i use something else, i didnt really think about it til now but i already bought the fluids i got some castrol syntec its the same weight and everything and synthetic and if so can i at least run if for about a week or two without damaging my transfer case....also what about the tranny i got castrol syntec for that too

i would but i bought these when i started my clutch install and im broke, only 16 so cash flow is minimal!!! Im just wondering if this will be ok under normal driving conditions for about a week or two
you have an MR and it is absolutely NECESSARY to use oem fluids

i looked but couldnt really find anything on these fluids, i just need to know if these fluids will be good for about a week or two til i get the money for the mitsubishi fluids? See heres the thing, im in high school and need to get my car on the road by this coming monday and i dont know if ill have enough to get mitsubishi fluids from the dealer, does anyone know how much the dealer charges for them enough to do the transfer case and the transmission?

do you have stock fluids in there now?
you'd be better off leaving them for another two weeks rather than putting in a non OEM fluid
the tranny fluid is where you really shouldn't mess with anything but OEM

sorry forgot to say that im doing a clutch install, and ive already bought these fluids at the parts store they had a book to look up what i needed and they said this would be good but i just need to know if this will hold up or if i need to call mitsubishi tomorrow and see what its going to cost me to get new fluids, would you have any idea what it might cost?
I wouldn't use any thing other than OEM fluid in the T/C (40 bucks if I remember correctly) even for just a week or two. As for the tranny, the 6 speed fluid isn't cheap. Like the earlier post said, better safe than sorry. Careful with parts store recommendations, half the time they know less than you do.
