Evo IX VIN# on Transmission?
I am wondering if anyone can tell me if ALL Evo IX's have the VIN # listed on the transmission? If so would this be on the bell housing or any other part of the transmission?

The car in question is a 2006 Evo IX RS.

All major parts for a car should have the vehicles VIN listed on them. For the EVO the VIN is listed on the bell housing. This is mainly to ID theft.

it is on top of the bell housing if oem and just at the rear of the housing if remanufactured
