EGR Question
EGR Question
I have been throwing a EGR insufficient flow code and have then been clearing it every couple weeks. I was able to pick up a low milage valve from a local owner.
I'm wondering if it's actually worth throwing on since I now disabled the EGR check in the ECU. I don't have to worry about emissions testing.
Will my gas mileage be affected by the current valve even though the ECU is not checking it? It's hard to see any gas mileage change now since it is winter and the mileage sucks anyway.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

there are 2 hoses that connect to this EGR valve. make sure both are connect to the nipples on the valve itself. the come off due to high boost and its very common. mine came off and i just put it back on. its really hard to see so u basicly just have to feel around for it.
